We are proud to announce our new knitting classes to be held at Baskets On Occasion design studio located in Eagan.
BEGINNING KNITTING: Designed for beginners and as a refresher for those who haven't knit in years, you'll get a solid foundation of knitting fundamentals in our beginning knitting class. Learn about knitting supplies, yarns, cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease & bind off. You will also learn the stockinette and rib stitch pattern. Handouts on basic knitting skills provided along with a knitted purse pattern.
Cost: $39.00 for one time session date.
DAY & TIME: Saturday, FEBRUARY 20th, 2010. 9:00am-12:30 Noon. LOCATION: Birchwood Office Condos, 3348 Sherman Court Suite 104 Eagan 55121 (Sherman Court is located behind Granite City restaurant which is on Pilot Knob Rd.).
***KNITTING NEEDLES & YARN NOT INCLUDED. PLEASE bring Knitting Needles (ALUMINIUM), U.S. size 10 and 1 skein of medium worsted acrylic yarn 5oz ( for ex.Red Heart) in a bright color & SCISSORS. NO MOHAIRE OR FANCY YARNS. Bright colored yarn allows one to view stitches better. Aluminum knitting needles are best for beginners since they allow ease in transferring stitches from one needle to the other.
ENROLLMENT is limited to 10 students.
To hold your place in class, all payment(credit card or check) must be paid in full prior to attending. If you're unable to attend your class, a FULL REFUND will be paid if we receive ONE WEEKS NOTICE PRIOR TO class. LESS than ONE WEEKS NOTICE, half of class tuition will be refunded.
